This new SanDisk TransFlash card (formerly known as T-Flash) is the ultimate storage solution for the next generation of increasingly compact mobile phones. Two-thirds the size of a SIM module, TransFlash is even smaller than many embedded memory devices.

TransFlash is designed to store personal content such as digital images, MP3 music files, video games and other applications, phone settings and personal data. TransFlash enables mobile phone users to transfer their personal content, applications, and system settings from one phone to another.

The exceptionally small size of TransFlash cards (11mm x 15mm x1mm) allows mobile phone manufacturers to incorporate significant amounts of removable storage capacity into their smaller handsets without changing the physical size of the phone.
